Paso Robles, Templeton Gap District
2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
All of our Cabernet Sauvignon wines are light and fruit forward with minimal oak influence. The grapes are from sustainable small lot vineyards in the rolling hillsides of Templeton Gap where the soils are calcareous, sand and silt, the climate is cooled by the breezes that flow through the district from the mountain gaps and Pacific Ocean, with warm long sunny days during the growing season and a large diurnal range in day to night temperature. Aged with a small percentage of French oak. The resulting wines are more fruit, less oak character, elegant, vibrant, easy to pair with a variety of foods.
Diane Lynne Selections
2019 Sauvignon Blanc, Calistoga, Napa Valley
A delicious wine with flavors of lime, green apple, peach, passion fruit and hints of pineapple and grapefruit. This wine was tank-fermented and aged in stainless for six months and then aged in nuetral barrel. The grapes for this wine are from the northern portion of the Napa Valley in the sub appellation Calistoga. The vineyard is distinguished by volcanic soil, high temps up to 100 degrees during the day followed by cool nights during the growing season, producing wines with structure, complexity and distinctiveness. The hot to cool temps provide perfect conditions for growing intense fruit.
